This is actually A nice product but as a guy I can’t help but look at this and say “man purse”. But when actually trying out the product I will say that I was pleasantly surprised.

I have to say that I am an infomercial junkie. I love getting a chance to play with all of these products. Being the father of a 4 and half month old every outing means juggling a diaper bag that you could fit the kitchen sink in and a small SUV worth of accessories and baby related fodder. I noticed that every time my wife and I would go out shopping with our little one that the most entertaining portion is watching my wife go through the check-out line. It is an amazing ballet of failing arms and movement watching her try to shuffle items to get to her wallet which has now buried itself in a blanket or some other item. Then out of frustration she will turn to me and say “Hey honey did you bring your wallet with you…”.
After watching this happen a dozen times it became clear that she needed something to keep her phone, credit cards, and lip gloss at the ready. So I saw that they (Buxton) are running a 2 for 1 deal when all was said and done the price was less really cheap for 2 of these cell wallets. I ordered two in black because I figured it would be a nice little gift for my mom and I waited for my order to arrive.
Two weeks passed and I got a delivery at my desk. I had totally forgot about ordering these so I opened the package at my desk and pulled out the first Buxton cell wallet and heard one of my employees snicker “hey nice man purse” =( yeah I was a little disheartened by the comment so I put the “man purse” back in the box and took it home with me.
So I showed my wife the cell wallet when I got home and she gave it a surprisingly warm response and proceeded to load it up with “woman stuff” from her purse. I was also surprised to find find 2 of those little key chain squeeze lights as a bonus to my order. I think initially I was more excited about the flashlights then anything so I quickly tucked one away for myself.
The next day when my wife returned from a marathon shopping run I asked her if she liked her new Buxton cell phone wallet and she smirked at me and said “you know I do like it, more then I thought I would”. So the next day I had to run out to do some work at a data center and I always have my pockets stuffed with cable ties, screw drivers, diagonal cutters, and other geeky goodness I was running out of space so I decided to grab the other wallet since it has a belt loop and load it up. I was surprised at how much you can shove into that little wallet.
I spent the day working in my server racks iPhone pumping my favorite tunes with the wallet hanging open and functioning as a small tool pouch. It did the job really well and now I keep it in my bag for when I need to work on the racks and that silly little flashlight has been a lifesaver too many times to count.
